Audhu billahi minash shaytanir rajeem
(I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan)

Allahumma inna as’aluka wa atawassalu ilayka
(O Allah, indeed I ask You and seek means to You)


Ya Allahu Ya Allahu Ya Allah
(O Allah, O Allah, O Allah)


Ya Rahmanu Ya Rahmanu Ya Rahman
(O Most Gracious, O Most Gracious, O Most Gracious)


Ya Raheemu Ya Raheemu Ya Raheem
(O Most Merciful, O Most Merciful, O Most Merciful)


Ya hu hu hu, ya hay hay hay (x3)
(O He, O He, O He / O Living, O Living, O Living)


Ya Hin Ya Hin Ya Hin
(O Gentle, O Gentle, O Gentle)


Ya Rabbahu Ya Rabbahu Ya Rabbah
(O his Lord, O his Lord, O his Lord)


Ya Sayyadahu Ya Sayyadahu Ya Sayyadahu
(O his Master, O his Master, O his Master)


Ya Hua Ya Hua Ya Hua
(O He, O He, O He)


Ya Ghiyathi ‘inda shiddati
(O My Helper in my hardship)


Ya Anisi ‘inda Wahdati
(O My Companion in my loneliness)


Ya Mujibi ‘inda da‘wati
(O The Responder to my call)


Ya Allahu Ya Allahu Ya Allah
(O Allah, O Allah, O Allah)


"Allahu la illaha illa Huwal hayyul Qayyum"
("Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence")


Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum
(O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining)


Ya man taqumus samawatu wal ardu bi amrihi
(O You by whose command the heavens and the earth stand)


Ya jami‘ almakhluqati tahta lutfihi wa qahrihi
(O You who gathers all creation under His gentleness and His power)


Asaluka Allahuma an tusakhkhir li rawhaniyyata hadhihi al ayatish sharifati
(I ask You, O Allah, to subjugate for me the spiritual essence of this noble verse)


An yu‘inooni ‘ala qadai hawa’ijee
(To help me fulfill my needs)


Ya man "la takhudhuhu sinnatun wa la nawm"
(O He who "neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep")


Ihdini ila alhaqqi wa ila attariqil mustaqimi
(Guide me to the truth and to the straight path)


Hatta astariha min allawm
(Until I am safe from blame)


"la ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz zalimin"
("There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers")


Ya hu hu hu, ya hay hay hay (x3)


Ya man "lahu ma fis samawati wa ma fil ard"
(O He to whom "belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth")


Man dhal ladhi yashfa‘u ‘indahu illa bi idhnihi
(Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?)


Allahuma ishfa‘ li warshidni
(O Allah, intercede for me and guide me rightly)


Fima uridu min qada‘i hawa’ijee
(In what I intend of fulfilling my needs)


Wa ithbati qawli wa fi‘li wa ‘amali
(And in firmness of my speech, my actions, and my deeds)


Wa barik li fi ahli
(And bless me in my family)


Ya man "ya‘lamu ma bayna aydihim wa ma khalfahum"
(O He who "knows what is before them and what is behind them")


"Wa la yuhituna bi shayyim min ‘ilmihi"
("And they encompass not a thing of His knowledge")


Ya man ya‘lamu damira ‘ibadihi sirran wa jahran
(O He who knows the secrets of His servants, both hidden and open)


As’aluka an tusakhkhira li khuddama hadhihil ayatish sharifati
(I ask You to subjugate for me the servants of this noble verse)


Wad da‘wati al munifati
(And of this luminous prayer)


An yakunu ‘awnan li ‘ala qada‘i hawa’ijee
(To be helpers for me in fulfilling my needs)


Haylan haylan jawlan jawlan mulkan mulkan
(Profusely, abundantly, swiftly, powerfully, majestically)


Ya man la yatasarrafu fi mulkihi "illa bima shaa"
(O He in whose dominion nothing occurs "except by what He wills")


"Wasi‘a kursiyu hus samawati wal ard"
("His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth")


Sakhkhir li ‘abdak al maliku kandiyasa
(Subjugate for me Your servant, the king Kandiyas)


Hatta yukalimani hala yaqzati
(So that he may speak to me in my waking state)


Wa yu‘inani ‘ala qada‘i jamee‘i hawa’ijee
(And help me in fulfilling all my needs)


Ya man "wa la yauduhu hifzahuma wa huwal ‘aliyul ‘azeem"
(O He whom "the preservation of both does not tire Him, and He is the Most High, the Most Great")


Ya hamidu Ya Majidu Ya Ba‘ithu Ya Shahidu
(O Praiseworthy, O Glorious, O Resurrector, O Witness)


Ya haqqu Ya Wakilu Ya Qawiyu Ya Matin
(O Truth, O Trustee, O Strong, O Firm)


Kun li ‘awnan ‘ala qada‘i hawa’ijee
(Be for me a helper in fulfilling my needs)


Bi alfi alfin
(By thousands upon thousands)


La hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil ‘Aliyil ‘Azeem
(There is no power nor strength except by Allah, the Most High, the Most Great)


Aqsamtu ‘alayka ayyuhal Maliku Kandiyasa
(I call upon you, O King Kandiyas)


An tujibani anta wa khuddamuka
(That you answer me, you and your servants)


Wa a‘inooni fi jamiyi umori
(And help me in all my affairs)


Bi haqqi ma ta‘taqidunahu minal ‘azamati wal kibriyya’i
(By the right of what you hold of majesty and greatness)


Wa bi haqqi hadhihil ayyatil ‘azimati
(And by the right of this immense verse)


Wa bi haqqi sayyidina Muhammadin ‘alayhi salatu wassalam
(And by the right of our Master Muhammad, prayers and peace be upon him)
